Seasonal Operations Associate - Northwoods Mall

About the role

Do you like working with your hands and staying active? Do the words “order” and “process” get you excited? Do you enjoy making things happen behind the scenes and seeing your work flourish in a store? A Seasonal Operations Associate’s role is to create an outstanding customer experience by performing operations functions within the store. This is an early morning position and you will work with the task team to perform functions prior to store opening. As a seasonal hire you will have a defined employment time period, but you may be offered an employment extension or regular position based on your work ethic and availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by assisting shoppers with questions and requests while moving quickly through the store.
• Execute pricing and signing updates across the store efficiently and accurately.
• Replenish and restock merchandise to ensure customers have access to desired styles and sizes.
• Receive and unload merchandise from trucks and prepare it in the backroom for the sales floor.
• Maintain backroom standards by keeping the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Fulfill online orders by locating and preparing items for jcp.com pickup.
• Execute merchandise strategy by placing products according to leadership plans and merchandising standards to enhance the customer experience.
• Participate in a learning environment by absorbing new information about merchandise or business processes from peers or training materials.
