Seasonal Non-DOT Ops Support - Halsey, OR

Summary

Simplot Grower Solutions is seeking a seasonal Laborer/Operations Support position. This is a full-time, temporary role with comprehensive benefits and potential for overtime. The primary task involves supporting daily plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment and plant maintenance, including welding, pump and engine overhauls, painting, and general housekeeping
• Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers, operating equipment to blend fertilizer and chemicals, and cleaning and storing equipment after application
• Receiving and unloading product and performing warehouse inventory and storage functions
• Maintain a conscientiousness for safety at all times while performing all duties
• Represent the Company professionally at all times
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as assisting with special projects, attending training sessions, etc.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's license
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Ag-Industry hours, including early mornings, late evenings, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Able to perform all essential functions of the job

Typical Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training or experience may be considered.

Skills & Relevant Experience

- 1+ years of related experience - Truck driving experience preferred - Proficiency with smart devices and ELDs (Electronic Log Device) is highly preferred - Knowledge of local rural geography is a plus - Knowledge of basic farm equipment and operation preferred - Ability to perform a variety of tasks in succession
