Job Overview

This is a seasonal role at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, a 4-Star Full-Service property located in Southern Colorado Springs. The Buffet Attendant is responsible for maintaining the breakfast/buffet items, greeting guests, monitoring food temperatures, and ensuring cleanliness and organization.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Set up, replenish, and maintain the breakfast buffet with fresh, appealing food and beverages.
• Greet guests warmly, answer questions about menu items, and accommodate reasonable requests.
• Maintain food temperatures and presentation to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
• Keep the buffet area, dining space, and service stations clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Assist with brewing coffee, preparing simple hot and cold items, and restocking condiments.
• Clear tables promptly and reset them for incoming guests.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines.
• Communicate with the kitchen and management regarding supply needs or guest feedback.

Qualifications

• Must have open availability through the week, including weekends and holidays.
• Candidate must be 18+ years of age.
• Able to lift, pull and push a moderate amount of weight.
• A positive, energetic attitude with a strong customer service orientation.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing.
• Must be able to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with guest interaction.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
