SEASONAL Merchandise Associate Salesfloor Associate (EVENING)

About the Role

This seasonal merchandise associate position at TJX Companies involves working a set shift of 5:00 pm/5:30 pm – 10:00 pm (or 11:15 pm when holiday hours are in effect), totaling 15–25 hours per week, Sunday through Saturday. The associate will recover and push merchandise, support back‑up cashiering as needed, and contribute to a highly satisfied customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with all customers and embodying customer experience principles.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment and adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards.
• Cross‑train and work in multiple store areas to support business needs.
• Model positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring purchases/returns and count change according to established procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Uphold merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and assist with overall store cleanliness.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink‑reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
