About the role
Position supports leaf removal program under immediate supervision.
Responsibilities
- Participates in removal of leaves for curbside pickup
- Cleans equipment, building and grounds
- Operates light motorized equipment as necessary
- Performs a variety of unskilled manual labor tasks
- Performs general street maintenance
- Performs other related duties as required
Requirements
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to perform heavy outside work
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Must be 18 years of age
- CDL holders subject to federal drug testing requirements including screening through the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Pre-employment drug screen required for CDL holders
Qualifications
A valid CDL with a satisfactory driving record is preferred.
Pay
Base wage: $15.00 per hour. Candidates possessing a Class B CDL upon hire are eligible for an additional $0.50/hour.
Schedule
Variable hours up to 25 hours per week. Full-time seasonal daytime hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. Start and end dates are negotiable within the September - December season. Seasonal full-time employment is limited to a 5-month duration.
