Seasonal Maintenance Worker
About the role
You will perform cleaning, general maintenance, and minor repairs to building(s), equipment and grounds at the National Guard Armory located in Connersville, Indiana.
You will be responsible for the entire facility and grounds excluding those areas of military responsibility such as: kitchens, OMS areas, military supply rooms, vehicle compounds, POL building and other like areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning tasks
- Carry out general maintenance activities
- Execute minor repairs to buildings, equipment, and grounds
- Ensure the facility and grounds are maintained outside of military responsibility areas
Requirements
- Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications
- Ability to perform cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs
- Experience with general maintenance and minor repairs
- Knowledge of building and equipment maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina for manual labor
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance
- Ability to follow safety protocols
Benefits
This position traditionally starts at an hourly rate of $13.00 - $17.00 per hour, depending on qualifications, limited to working 180 calendar days.

Schedule
This position is seasonal and limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
