Job Summary
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks to guarantee the continuous and efficient operation of all properties. Our maintenance staff take pride in keeping guest homes in excellent repair, providing friendly and professional interactions with both guests and homeowners.
Job Duties And Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Ensuring all homes are maintained and inspected to standard.
- Available to respond to guest/homeowner requests, or concerns.
- Perform general repairs, such as minor plumbing, basic electrical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
- Assisting with pool maintenance and servicing hot tubs to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor Wi-Fi issues in homes to ensure connectivity for guests.
- Clean and remove trash as needed around town and homes.
- Bundling and distributing firewood to homes, and surrounding areas.
- Ensure supply carts/trucks are cleaned, stocked, and maintained daily.
- Notify supervisors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
- Wears proper uniform at all times in accordance with the standards of personal appearance guidelines in the employee guidebook.
- Proactively and timely communicate information to the department and out to the rest of the organization.
- Comply with all policy and procedures; escalate questions and concerns including safety hazards.
- Proactively identify and properly address safety issues.
- Adhere strictly to schedules and work all shifts as assigned.
- Ensure all time worked is reported accurately, and that no work is performed “off the clock.”
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or relevant experience.
- 1-3 years experience in hospitality, property management or like experience and a demonstrated ability to perform the essential job functions preferred.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Able to visually identify, observe, and assess distance, color, and depth.
- Required to regularly communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
- Able to operate a computer and other office productivity equipment.
- Frequently move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 100 pounds.
- Able to work within varying temperatures indoors to outdoors; moving between buildings and working around moving equipment/machines.
- Able to ascend/descend ladders or stairs, stoop/bend, push/pull, and occasionally work overhead and at heights up to and sometimes exceeding 40 feet.
- Occasional exposure to moving objects, dust, fumes, airborne particles, extreme temperatures, electric shock, vibration, chemicals, and noise.
