Seasonal Maintenace Worker

Description

Under the direction of the Foreman, the Seasonal Maintenance Worker will ensure the upkeep of the City's parks and facilities during the summer season. This is a 40-hour-a-week, temporary position.

Duties

• Mowing and trimming grass using lawnmowers and other landscaping equipment
• Pruning trees, shrubs, and hedges
• Assisting with the maintenance of parks, city facilities, and playgrounds
• Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Possess general knowledge of tools, materials, and equipment
• Ability to adhere to safe operating practices and procedures
