Seasonal Lawn Care Technician - Aeration & Seeding

As a Seasonal Service Leader, you'll be the face of Virginia Green in the field, delivering high-quality lawn and landscape services while providing outstanding customer experience.

Day In The Life

• Applying lawn care treatments, aeration, seeding, and tree & shrub services using professional-grade equipment
• Working independently or with a team to complete services on assigned routes
• Operating equipment safely and efficiently while following all company and regulatory guidelines
• Inspecting customer properties and providing expert recommendations to improve lawn health
• Managing daily routes and service documentation through company-provided mobile technology
• Ensuring every property meets Virginia Green quality standards before leaving the site
• Maintaining equipment, vehicles, and facilities in a clean and professional manner
• Representing Virginia Green with professionalism, safety, and a customer-first attitude

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record with 1+ years of driving experience preferred but not required
• Able to operate a truck and trailer safely
• Must obtain a Registered Technician certification within 30 days of hire (training and fees paid by Virginia Green)
• Previous customer service, landscaping, lawn care, or outdoor work experience is helpful but not required

This Is An Active, Hands-on Position Requiring Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying throughout the day Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Working outdoors in varying weather conditions Walking long distances across customer properties
