Seasonal Laborer

About the role

Delta Natural Gas Co., Inc., an Essential Utilities company, is seeking part-time seasonal employees through November. The primary responsibilities include assisting the operations group with day-to-day outdoor activities such as meter painting, mowing, and general labor.

Essential Duties

• Cook up coordinate seasonal workload with Delta operations team
• Responsible for becoming familiar with Delta operations
• Updates and maintains documentation of work activities
• Adheres to all safety and security operating policies, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure a safe working environment
• Participates in daily/weekly coordination meetings as needed
• Aids with other tasks or projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedules
• Follows directions and safety procedures
• Establishes effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and the public
• Willingness to drive throughout service territory
