About the role
The seasonal keyholder will assist the management team in encouraging and motivating the team to achieve sales targets, store sales, and KPIs. This role requires a good working knowledge of store reports and the retail message board, as well as familiarity with systems and procedures to maintain good stock levels and consistency. You will assist the management team in ensuring processes and systems in-store are implemented and regularly reviewed to keep store operations running smoothly and resolve issues in a timely manner. Support the store manager with planning and organizing floor moves and implementing promotions to maximize commercial opportunities and meet company standards. This position will assist the management team in the day-to-day business needs.
Part-time role requiring 28-30 hours weekly. Located at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets, 548 Debry Lane, Central Valley, NY 10917.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable client experiences that reflect the luxury brand.
- Support sales goals through product knowledge, client engagement, and relationship building.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, security protocols, and store readiness.
- Act as a key holder and leader on duty in the absence of store management.
- Support visual merchandising standards and maintain an elevated store presentation.
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, cycle counts, and shipment processing.
- Coach and support team members to ensure a high level of customer service and operational execution.
- Help maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues as needed.
- Support special events, promotions, and clienteling initiatives.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, processing, and replenishing merchandise shipments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of both the sales floor and backroom to ensure an efficient and elevated shopping experience.
- Ensure product is properly stocked, displayed, and stored according to company standards.
- Support inventory accuracy through proper merchandise handling, stock rotation, and organization of back-of-house areas.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in beauty, with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
- Some management or leadership experience preferred.
- Additional language skills are a plus (e.g., Mandarin/Cantonese, Japanese, Portuguese).
Pay
A reasonable pay range is $18/hr - $21/hr plus commission.
