About the Role

The Seasonal Inventory Administrative Assistant position is located in South Brunswick, NJ.

  • Perform daily completion and publishing of various reports with detailed identification of discrepancies
  • Conduct trend analysis of variances and report root causes and coaching opportunities
  • Communicate inventory issues and provide reporting via email
  • Attend and facilitate inventory meetings with the Operations Team
  • Utilize Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to govern daily activities while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and quality standards
  • Coordinate handoffs and action plans with previous and following shifts
  • Create and implement standard operating procedures for job functions
  • Promote safety awareness and cultivate a safety culture to avoid hazardous working conditions
  • Multitask and maintain extreme detail in all written and verbal communications/documentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 6 months of administrative or clerical experience, preferably in an upholstery manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Outlook & Word (Basic to Intermediate); Excel (Intermediate to Advanced)
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent attendance, teamwork skills, and willingness to perform necessary duties
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and extra hours as needed
  • Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing

Physical Requirements

  • Comfortable walking/standing 100% of the day
  • Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs
