This role supports regional or upstream distribution centers, import warehouses, or fulfillment and flow centers, impacting thousands of team members and guests worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Support operational teams and ICQA Leader in defect resolution, focusing on inventory within stored locations.
  • Audit and resolve defects within assigned Service Level Agreements (SLA) and document root causes for follow-up.
  • Respond to defects in warehouse locations, often using powered equipment, while maintaining safety.
  • Perform weekly audits, communicate findings, and collaborate with leaders to implement resolutions.
  • Apply lean approaches, Six Sigma tools, and 5S techniques to drive cleanliness and defect documentation.
  • Correct inventory record inaccuracies and conduct follow-up audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Address inaccuracies that impede operational teams from picking product, preventing downstream order cancellations.
  • Manage multiple priorities and processes while demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills.

Schedule

Weekday Nights (Tuesday - Friday). This is a seasonal position lasting up to 175 days from hire, supporting the ICQA team during peak volume.

Requirements

  • 2 years of prior work experience as a warehouse worker, operations technician, quality control technician, or similar role.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-45 lbs frequently and up to 60 lbs occasionally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and match department/product documentation.
  • Proficient in operating computer systems with minimal direction after training.
  • Ability to research defects/issues and determine root causes.
  • Skilled in navigating web-based ICQA reporting and forms (e.g., Smartsheet) with minimal direction after training.
  • Basic data entry and analysis skills in Excel or other web-based forms.
  • Ability to be trained on powered equipment as needed.
