Seasonal HVAC Technician Helper - Fall 2026

About the role

Tower Water is a long-standing water treatment company seeking temporary, entry-level staff for our busy Fall season (9/8/2026 to 12/4/2026). This position starts at our warehouse in Somerset, NJ, with travel to jobsites in NYC/NJ. The role offers high potential to return for the Spring season and priority consideration for full-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technicians with tower cleanings, disinfections, and treatment of piping systems using specialized equipment and chemicals
• Connect/disconnect hoses, run make-up & drain systems, and roll hoses
• Load and unload work van with equipment and materials
• Work in high locations and inclement weather conditions (33°F to 102°F)
• Lift 40-70 pounds regularly
• Meet Technician as early as 5:00 a.m. for travel to jobsites in a company vehicle
• Perform other related tasks as directed by Technician or Field Manager

Requirements

• Reliable and adaptable to changing schedules and construction environments
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and physical
• Must have work boots and pants (dark colored, no jeans)
• Valid driver's license preferred but not required
• SST card and OSHA certification preferred but not required
• Previous experience in pipe fitting, construction, or similar manual labor positions is welcome

Pay

$22.00 per hour with a guaranteed minimum of 25 hours per week (excluding holiday weeks or state-of-emergency closings). Overtime after 40 hours; Saturdays at overtime rate, Sundays at double-time.

Schedule

Temporary assignment from 9/8/2026 to 12/4/2026. Workdays may begin as early as 5:00 a.m. for travel to jobsites.
