Seasonal Horticulture
This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.
About the role
We are looking for hard-working individuals who are eager to work outdoors and are up to the challenge of taking care of Epic’s unique landscape as part of the Horticulture team. We have a number of openings for experienced and motivated landscapers and horticulturists to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assist horticulturists with maintenance of garden areas, green roofs, orchard, and prairies
- Mowing, trimming, mulching, watering, weeding, and composting
Work may be strenuous and involve crouching, bending, kneeling, and regularly lifting 50 lbs, so a passion for rigorous, outdoor activity is a must.
Requirements
- Ability to work 40 hours per week through the growing season (July–November)
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Live within 45 minutes of Epic's campus in Verona, WI
- COVID-19 vaccination
Experience using commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools is preferred but not required.
Pay
Pay for this position starts at $22/hr.
