About the role

Target is hiring seasonal specialists to provide tailored suggestions, active selling, and visual merchandising that inspire guests and build the basket. The positions span several focus areas, including Guest Advocate, General Merchandise Expert, Fulfillment Expert, Style Consultant, Inbound Expert, Food & Beverage Expert, and Tech Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a helpful attitude and provide exceptional service.
• Assist guests in finding products, answer questions, and resolve issues on the spot.
• Operate cash registers accurately.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, frequently lifting or moving items up to 40 lb.
• Climb up and down ladders to stock and set merchandise.
• Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and meet sales goals.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure products are in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed.

Requirements

• Strong problem‑solving skills to resolve guest questions quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.

• Regular attendance and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $17.25 USD per hour.

Schedule

Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Regular attendance is required.
