About the role

Seasonal Specialty Sales Roles at Target involve providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket. Seasonal Service & Engagement advocates focus on guest interaction and recovery, while Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales experts ensure product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. The positions offer training to develop guest‑service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, inventory management, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests, delivering service that makes them say “I LOVE TARGET!”
  • Provide tailored product suggestions and visual merchandising presentations.
  • Maintain product placement, ensure items are in‑stock, accurately priced, and properly signed.
  • Handle cash register operations accurately.
  • Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting or moving items up to 40 pounds.
  • Climb ladders and perform other physical tasks as needed.
  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
  • Support daily/weekly workload to meet business priorities and sales goals.
