Pay

Starting hourly rate: $17.25 USD per hour.

About the Role

Target’s seasonal positions are focused on delivering a guest‑first experience through specialized sales, service, and merchandise expertise. Roles include:

  • Seasonal Specialty Sales – providing tailored suggestions, active selling, and visual merchandising that inspire guests.
  • Seasonal Service & Engagement – welcoming guests, exceeding service expectations, and handling guest recovery.
  • Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales – ensuring products are set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.

These positions help team members develop retail fundamentals, inventory management, process efficiency, and sales‑goal execution.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Seasonal Guest Advocate, General Merchandise Expert, Fulfillment Expert, Style Consultant, Inbound Expert, Food & Beverage Expert, or Tech Consultant.
  • Welcome and assist guests with a helpful attitude.
  • Operate cash registers accurately.
  • Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, frequently lifting up to 40 lb.
  • Climb ladders and perform merchandising tasks as needed.
  • Support team members and work both independently and collaboratively.

Requirements

  • Positive, welcoming attitude toward guests and teammates.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
  • Effective problem‑solving to resolve guest questions on the spot.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays with regular attendance.
