About the role

Target is hiring seasonal specialists to support guest experiences across several areas:

• Seasonal Specialty Sales – provide tailored suggestions and visual‑merchandising presentations that inspire guests and increase basket size.
• Seasonal Service & Engagement – welcome guests, thank them, and exceed service expectations through proactive interaction and recovery.
• Seasonal General Merchandise & Food Sales – ensure products are set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.

These positions offer training in guest‑service fundamentals, retail business basics, inventory management, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Actively sell and present merchandise through compelling visual displays.
• Welcome guests, answer questions, and resolve issues on the spot.
• Maintain product availability, accurate pricing, and proper signage.
• Handle cash register operations accurately.
• Climb ladders, scan items, and move merchandise safely, frequently lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Execute daily and weekly workload to support business priorities and sales goals.

• Quickly resolve guest questions and concerns.

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $16.50 USD per hour.

Schedule
