About the role
Seasonal specialty sales roles at Target involve providing tailored suggestions, active selling, and visual merchandising to inspire guests and build the basket. Seasonal service & engagement advocates focus on guest interaction and recovery. Seasonal general merchandise & food sales experts ensure products are set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and visual merchandising.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations, focusing on interaction and recovery.
- Ensure merchandise is set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
- Handle cash register operations accurately.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Climb ladders as needed for stocking and merchandising.
Qualifications
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
- Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem‑solving skills to resolve guest questions quickly.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
