Seasonal Grain Operations Worker

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manages the handling, storage, and movement of agricultural commodities like corn & wheat.
• Inspects and probes grain trucks.
• Operates machinery and railcar equipment.
• Maintains facility cleanliness.
• Ensures grain quality throughout the agricultural supply chain.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.
• Able to frequently lift/push/pull up to 75 pounds.
• Able to climb/stoop/kneel at heights up to 180 feet.
• Works outdoors in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
• Works in dusty, noisy, and grain-dust environments.
• Works on uneven surfaces.

Safety Hazards

• Working around heavy machinery.
• Loud noises.
• Grain dust.
• Strict adherence to safety and PPE protocols required.

Schedule

• Fast-paced and seasonal.
• Extended hours, weekend shifts, and longer work weeks required during peak harvest seasons.
