Seasonal - Grain Elevator Scale/Probe Operator

Responsibilities

• Weigh trucks in and out
• Take grain samples
• Grade grain and record information
• Utilize strong customer service skills
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers
• Perform tasks such as directing trucks, labeling samples, and performing general clean-up

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in an industrial environment
• Grain grader and/or weighing certificate (if not obtained before hire, must obtain in time)
• Basic mathematical skills
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail skills
• Able to follow direction and troubleshoot problems
• Able to work independently and within a team environment
• Able to remain focused on exceptional customer service

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: None required, but 1 year’s experience preferred

• Working knowledge of computers and software
