Seasonal General Labor

About the role

This is a temporary seasonal position working in raw product storages and potato fields completing a variety of tasks as assigned. The position involves working varied hours, outside in hot temperatures for extended periods of time, and is expected to last 3-4 months.

Responsibilities

This position will cover a variety of responsibilities working in raw product storages and/or potato fields on a temporary seasonal basis. Some of these responsibilities include:

• Working outside in hot temperatures
• Working in the field digging potato samples
• Cleaning storages and supervising storage loading crews
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items repeatedly
• Good eye-hand coordination
• Good finger and manual dexterity
• Ability to reach with hands and arms repetitively
• Ability to lift 30 to 50 pounds on a continuous basis, and up to 100 pounds on occasion
• Valid driver's license and ability to perform driving tasks

Prior experience is preferred.

Pay

A reasonable hourly estimate for this role is $22.44. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's work location, job duties, experience and expertise.
