Seasonal General Labor
Job Summary/Job Duties
- Wear personal protective equipment
- Follow health and safety standards
- Inspect all incoming tomatoes and identify and remove all foreign materials
- Inspect sorting tables and related equipment for proper operation, set up and maintenance
- Maintain a clean workstation and production floor
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50-pound buckets of material
- Physical dexterity
- Shovel, wrap hoses, scrub and general housekeeping
- Push, pull, bend, scoop, climb stairs, twist, squat and stand for long periods of time
Work Environment
- Seasonal / Temporary – July through October timeframe
- Indoor food processing plant environment – hot, humid and noisy
- Sixteen-days per week (Monday through Sunday)
- Must be able to work any shift (6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am)
- Overtime when needed and on call as well as alternate schedules
Pay
$20.26+/HR
