Seasonal Full-Time Warehouse Shipping Associate (MON-FRI)

About the role

The Seasonal Order Puller is responsible for pulling and packing orders correctly while meeting productivity and accuracy standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
• Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
• Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
• Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor.
• Operate machinery including pallet jack, and stock chaser.
• Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center.
• Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required.
• Absorb and perform other warehouse or branch duties as needed.
• Must be willing to cross train.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned.
• Protective Equipment Required: Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required (examples include safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest).

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

$20.09 per hour, Monday - Friday (12pm - 8:30pm), Seasonal Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Note: As a seasonal hire you have a defined employment time period of 90 days from date of hire. Depending on business needs this has the potential of being shortened or extended at managements discretion. There also may be an opportunity to be hired into a full-time position if one becomes available but this is not guaranteed.
