About the role

Target's Global Supply Chain and Logistics is evolving rapidly, aiming to get products to guests faster than ever before. A role in a Supply Chain Facility involves being part of the team that ensures products reach stores and guests promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Attend safety trainings to learn how to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Pack, load, and ship items to stores and guests.
  • Accurately process merchandise to stores and guests.
  • Handle freight and move inventory throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
  • Report to work on time and complete job tasks accurately and on time.
  • Engage in problem-solving to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.

Requirements

  • Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift.
  • Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout a shift.
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Able to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
  • Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
  • Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Warehouse Worker only: Able to be trained on and operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40ft where applicable.
  • Food Distribution Center only: Able to work in various temperature-controlled environments including refrigerators and freezers for most of the shift.

Pay

Hourly rates for Warehouse Worker and Warehouse Associate roles are as follows:

  • Warehouse Worker: Starting at $22.85 per hour, with a range of $22.85 to $30.75 per hour.
  • Warehouse Associate: Starting at $24.35 per hour, with a range of $24.35 to $25.85 per hour.

You may also earn additional compensation in the form of a shift differential, ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility.

Schedule

Shifts available are:

  • Sunday, Monday, Saturday: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM
