Seasonal Full Time Auto Detailer - Car Washer - Appleton Airport

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Seasonal Full Time Automotive Detailer. This position is located at the Appleton Airport: W6395 Challenger Dr, Appleton, WI 54914. This is a seasonal position and cannot exceed 180 days.

Pay

Starts at $17.50 per hour, with the ability to earn production bonuses.

Schedule

• Thursday–Sunday: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• Friday–Monday: 12:00 PM–11:30 PM
• Friday–Monday: 1:00 PM–11:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior—including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report warning lights, damage, or issues
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other miscellaneous tasks
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must be available for seasonal work lasting a maximum of 6 months
