Seasonal Fulfillment Associate-DC- FRI-SUN 5am to 6pm

About the role

The hours for this full-time position are day through day, starting at $17.84/hr (plus shift differential). Our Warehouse Associates are a vital part of the REI Team and are the most common entry point into our Distribution Center Team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role at the Co-op by helping our product reach our customers' doors.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise handling (picking and putting away)
• Receiving and price marking
• Splitting and shipping
• Packaging specialized customer orders
• Handling cardboard and waste for team efficiency
• Preparation and assembly of bicycles
• Operating power equipment such as pallet riders (after training and certification)
• Working in multiple areas as assigned based on business volume and team performance
• Meeting or exceeding attendance requirements
• Ensuring personal and team safety in daily operations

Requirements

• Prior warehouse or relevant experience
• Familiarity working with computer systems and/or RF equipment
• Prior experience using power equipment to safely process freight (current and valid driver’s license suffices)
• Ability to provide reliable and predictable attendance
• Basic math skills
• Flexibility to work in multiple areas as trained on a daily or weekly basis
• Ability to frequently lift and shift boxes weighing an average of 20 to 30 pounds, with a maximum of 65 pounds, throughout a full shift
• Able to work in a standing or walking environment for 8-10 hour shifts
• Ability to comprehend and apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Pay

Pay Range: $17.84 - $19.99 per hour (plus shift differential). Factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location may influence actual salary.
