SEASONAL - Front Desk Agent

About the role

The Edgewater Hotel is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our team.

Originally built for the 1962 World's Fair, The Edgewater Hotel overlooks Elliott Bay and the Olympic Mountains, offering an authentic Pacific Northwest experience with aluminum exteriors, natural wood interiors, and river‑rock fireplaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and problem resolution to AAA Four Diamond standards.
• Check guests in and out.
• Follow checklists, run reports, handle cash and other payments, make reservations for walk‑ins.
• Effectively communicate guest requests to other departments, and resolve guest issues promptly with a positive outcome.

Requirements

• Must have customer service experience and computer skills.
• Personable and professional phone demeanor and clear enunciation.
• Hotel experience with a similar property is preferred.
• Springer Miller knowledge a plus!

Pay

$28.50 per hour

Schedule

Shifts are as early as 6 am and end as late as 10 pm. This position will require mostly PM shifts, including weekends and holidays. This is a seasonal position with expected dates from May 1 to September 1 (subject to change).
