The Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial trucks to support material handling operations.
  • Move, load, unload, and stage materials to ensure smooth workflow across the facility.
  • Perform general material handler duties as needed.
  • Operate forklifts and perform tasks such as weighing materials, unloading and stacking materials, loading tractor trailers, completing checklists, monitoring and documenting industrial lift truck usage, reporting incidents, charging machines, maintaining 5S3R standards, following safety rules, and operating sweeper machines as required.
  • Ensure adherence to blending sheets, stacking rules, and operational guidelines.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Clean Criminal Background Check.
  • One year of forklift operation experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent English speaking ability.
  • Attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of substances testing procedures.
  • Experience with materials handling and industrial truck operation.
  • Understanding of blending sheets and stacking rules.
  • Compliance with IWS guidelines and NTRM prevention protocols.

Skills
