Roles And Responsibilities
- Aid the sales representative with internal tasks, including writing up request for estimate forms, printing estimates, contacting customers about pricing, and addressing issues or updating job statuses.
- Enter jobs into the system and create ink request cards.
- Place jobs into prepress and generate purchase orders for outside vendors as needed.
- Send proofs to customers or deliver them to the sales representative.
- Maintain communication with external vendors.
- Contact supervisors regarding job statuses.
- Communicate with the shipping department.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Some college education required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience in the print industry is preferred.
- Color vision is required.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience with direct mail and USPS requirements in commercial printing.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Deep understanding of the printing industry, including the print process, product flow, and supply chain logistics.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
