Seasonal Courier / DOT-25

About the role

Seasonal Courier position with up to 12-week commitment, driving/operating company vehicles to provide delivery and pick-up of packages at customer locations. Upon assignment completion, the employee may be offered a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.

Pay

25.42 – 35.96 USD per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by experience related to the job, market level, pay at the location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential.

Schedule

0900–1730, Monday through Friday.
