Seasonal Concessions Manager

Seasonal position located at 2442 Sims Avenue, Stevens Point, WI. Opening date: 07/21/2026, closing date: 8/28/2026 at 3:00 PM Central.

About the role

Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor, the Concession Manager is responsible for the daily operations, supervision, and proficiency of the Willett Arena Concessions.

Responsibilities

• Promotion and marketing of food
• Assist with ordering, inventory, and storage of all food and beverage products
• Assist in training and supervising part-time staff and volunteer help
• Supervise safe food handling practices and procedures
• Lead opening and closing procedures
• Oversee the stand while in operation
• Maintain deep cleaning schedule of concession stand and its equipment
• Maintain good relations with co-workers, supervisors, volunteer workers, vendors, and guests
• Follow K.B. Willett policies and procedures outlined in the employee manual
• Demonstrate good written and verbal communication and computer skills

Requirements

• Must have and be able to demonstrate good public relations skills
• Must be able to get along and work with fellow employees
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively
• Must be able to work in cold, damp, hot, or loud conditions
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required
• Must be able to bend, twist, and squat occasionally for 6-8 hours per day and be able to lift 50-100 pounds
• Ability to read/write and follow verbal and written directions
• Must be able to continuously walk or stand for 4-8 hours
• Must be able to operate point of sale software and cash drawer
• Must be proficient in mathematics
• Must have the ability to work unsupervised
• Must have management skills to supervise concession staff
• Must be able to multitask
