Seasonal Chaplain | Englewood, CO

About the role

Samaritans Purse is seeking Chaplains to join our Operation Christmas Child Processing Center Team. This is a full-time (40+ hours per week including Saturdays) seasonal commitment running from mid-November through mid-December.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an OCC Chaplain to deliver daily devotions for seasonal associates
• Provide spiritual guidance and support to staff and volunteers
• Lead public prayers for gospel opportunities during periodic processing breaks
• Engage individuals in prayer walks to share the Gospel
• Work alongside the PC management team to create an atmosphere of joy and service

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High level of spiritual maturity
• Experience serving in pastoral ministry

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
• Strong Christian character
• Aptitude to work well as part of a team
• Comfortable using public address systems and speaking in front of large audiences

Skills

• Desire to help others grow in their walk with the Lord
• Aptitude to accurately articulate the gospel and teach the Bible

Pay

$25.00 per hour

Schedule

1st Shift: 7:30am to 3:45pm
2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 10:30pm
