Seasonal CDL Driver w/ General Labor

About the role

Seasonal CDL Driver responsible for operating tractor‑trailer equipment and maintaining it properly to transport material to designated locations in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Must have a valid CDL Class A
• Safely operate Class A truck to transport material to job site, often driving on uneven or unfinished surfaces
• Able to climb up to 10 feet on ladders attached to truck or fertilizer tank
• Perform daily maintenance of equipment, such as cleaning the truck inside and out
• Recognize surroundings and practice traffic awareness to maintain a safe environment on the road and in the yard
• Tarp load when needed and verify gates are closed
• Clean spilled material or buildup off the box
• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written)
• Read maps and navigate to new locations
• Work with minimum supervision, recognize matters needing attention, and initiate action
• Provide delivery service as required by established delivery standards
• Interact with customers and managers
• Observe speed limits and obey D.O.T. regulations
• Maintain driving records
• Physical demands: regularly use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms; frequently required to stand, talk, walk and hear

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Class A CDL and Federal Medical card
• Pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol screening
• Minimum of 1 year experience driving with a CDL
