Seasonal Catering and Festival Server

About the role

Starfish Hospitality Group is hiring enthusiastic and reliable individuals for front-of-house positions at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach and on-call roles for our catering division in the Orange County area. This dynamic role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, ideal for those who enjoy fast-paced, outdoor environments and being part of a fun, energetic team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in catering and festival settings
• Represent the warmth and excellence of the Starfish brand
• Take orders, serve food and beverages, and process payments efficiently
• Assist with setup and breakdown of catering events
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Follow all health and safety guidelines
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and event teams
• Adapt to varying event sizes, service styles, and customer needs

Requirements

• Previous serving or food service experience preferred, but not required
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Positive attitude and willingness to jump into different roles as needed

Pay

$16.90 - $19.00 per hour
