Seasonal Cashier

Essential Functions

• Greets all visitors with a smile and offers assistance.
• Communicates clearly and in a friendly manner.
• Ensures accuracy of transaction to visitor and communicates appreciation for their business.
• Applies cash handling procedures, asset protection policies and requirements to daily routines.
• Accounts for any overs or unders at closings.
• Completes tasks on all checklists associated with the cashier position.
• Utilizes computer in the preparation and use of daily cash worksheet and balancing at the end of each day.
• Cleans and organizes assigned areas.
• Serves as a team player to help others complete their objectives as needed.
• May be required to work in another capacity in the visitor services area as needed.

Qualifications

• A High School Degree or GED.
• Proper cash handling protocols and retail experience helpful.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Written and verbal communication skills; high energy and enthusiasm; ability to work with a team and the public.
