Responsibilities
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin care industry
- Have excellent esthetics techniques
- Have excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills
- Willing to train in the spa's specific facial treatment offerings
- Must hold and maintain a current Type 6 Esthetics State License
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Learn the product and service knowledge necessary to provide wellness and beauty solutions
Requirements
- One to three years of esthetics experience strongly desirable
- Fluency in English, both verbal and non-verbal
- Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all guests and co-workers
- Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Prioritize and organize tasks
- Communicate clearly
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Be a clear thinker, remaining calm, and resolving problems using good judgment
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
Physical Demands
- Must be able to stand for a minimum of 6 hours a day
- Must be able to push, pull, tug, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. in the preparation of all treatments and training for treatments
Work Environment
- Work environment is fast-paced, with guest satisfaction as a primary objective
- Must be able to work in an environment where guests are scantily clad or disrobing for services
