Position Overview
The Brand Representative (Sales Associate) reports to store leadership and drives revenue while providing guests with exceptional service through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and maintaining a clean, well‑presented store environment. The role consistently meets individual sales goals that support overall store objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest service by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and adhering to Altar’d State service standards.
- Build relationships with guests to create loyalty and receive positive, unsolicited feedback.
- Communicate effectively with store management and guests, treating everyone fairly and respecting differences.
- Complete opening and closing procedures and assigned sales associate tasks with a guest‑focused mindset.
- Locate merchandise efficiently, maintain organization, and assist with merchandising and window displays.
- Perform register transactions quickly, accurately, and handle cash with precision.
- Adhere to loss‑prevention practices, report potential incidents, and protect company assets.
- Maintain a safe work environment and report hazards to leadership.
- Participate in inventory preparation and assist as needed.
- Report to work as scheduled, record time accurately using the company’s time‑and‑attendance system, and remain flexible to business needs.
- Represent the brand by following appropriate dress and grooming standards.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, reach, kneel, and squat frequently; occasional ladder use and frequent stair navigation.
- Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
