About the Role
The Brand Representative (Sales Associate) drives revenue and provides guests with exceptional service through relationship building, product knowledge, and maintaining a clean store environment. This role reports to Store Leadership and consistently achieves individual sales goals to support store objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent guest service by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations, and adhering to Altar’d State service standards.
- Acknowledge, interact with, and build relationships with guests to create loyalty.
- Communicate effectively with store management and guests, ensuring positive unsolicited feedback.
- Treat others fairly, with respect, and value differences without judgment.
- Act as a positive role model to foster a learning and trusting environment.
- Complete opening/closing procedures and sales tasks as directed by management with a guest focus.
- Locate merchandise effectively and maintain store organization.
- Perform register transactions quickly, accurately, and handle cash without error.
- Adhere to loss prevention practices and report potential incidents to protect company assets.
- Maintain a safe work environment and report hazards to leadership.
- Assist in preparing for store inventory.
- Report to work as scheduled, record time accurately, and remain flexible to business needs.
- Assist in constructing merchandising and window displays.
- Maintain a clean and presentable store environment.
- Represent the brand by adhering to dress and grooming standards.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, or squatting.
- May occasionally climb ladders or descend stairs frequently, depending on location.
- Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
