Seasonal Barista (Part-Time)

About the role

The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis seeks a Barista to join their talented team. The position is scheduled to operate from July 2026 to the end of October 2026.

What You Will Do

• Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of coffee, tea, and food items as well as information regarding preparation methods.
• Take verbal requests for food and accommodate the expediting of such requests using the hotel's point-of-sales system.
• Check completed orders with the guest's original order and provide items to the guest at the counter or table in a timely manner.
• Describe the selection of food and beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Accommodate guest orders by anticipating needs, ensuring satisfaction, and offering suggestions. Respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
• Breakdown, clean, and set up Stir and its adjacent areas, including front of house, back of house, and seating areas.
• Comply with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Assist with daily inventory and ordering and stock food and beverage and paper supplies.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 2 years of hospitality or related work experience is preferred.
• Education: High school education or equivalent experience.
• Requires reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Ability to make coffee and tea drinks at guest requests and Four Seasons standards specifications.
• Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
