Seasonal Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Lehigh Valley Airport

About the role

This position is located at Lehigh Valley International Airport - 3311 Airport Road, Allentown, PA 18109. The seasonal window ends on or before January 8th, 2027 and cannot exceed 130 days. The start date will be on or after August 31st, 2026.

Pay

$17 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, flexible days with the following shifts available:

• Shift 1: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Shift 2: 11:00am - 7:30pm
• Shift 3: 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage
• Pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance responsibilities: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and any other miscellaneous tasks related to daily cleanliness
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 1 moving violation and/or at-fault accident on driving record within the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English
• Seasonal employees may work for up to 130 days during a defined season (full-time or part-time hours) and must experience a 3-month break in service at the end of the season prior to working again as a seasonal or regular employee
