Seasonal Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Lees Summit

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Seasonal Full Time Automotive Detailer. This position is located at 1025 SW Blue Pkwy, Lee's Summit, MO 64063, and lasts up to 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights, vehicle/windshield/tire damage
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other miscellaneous tasks
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship
• Must be available for seasonal work lasting up to 180 days

Pay

$16 per hour

Option 1:

• Sunday: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Option 2:

• Sunday: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Monday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Tuesday: OFF
• Wednesday: OFF
• Thursday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM
