Seasonal Automotive Detailer - Car Washer - Rochester

We offer extensive car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, and other transportation services to make travel easier and more convenient for customers.

About the role

We are seeking a responsible, dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team at 47 Farmington Road, Rochester, NH 03867. This is a full-time seasonal position with a pay rate of $18/hour based on a 40-hour work week. The seasonal window ends on or before October 31, 2026, and cannot exceed 180 days.

Schedule

• Monday: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
• Tuesday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
• Wednesday: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
• Friday: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
• Saturday: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found.
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage.
• Pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations.
• Site appearance responsibilities: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other miscellaneous tasks related to daily cleanliness.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Seasonal employees may work for up to 180 days during a defined season (full-time or part-time hours) and must experience a 3-month break in service at the end of the season prior to working again as a seasonal or regular employee.
