Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, including cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni‑channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return/go‑back process and general store recovery to ensure a well‑merchandised, in‑stock store.
• Perform Store In‑Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remain positive in difficult situations, and serve as a role model for team members.
• Cross‑trained in Custom Framing selling and production.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities include the ability to perform all duties listed above and to handle other tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to move throughout the store, including regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment.
• Work in a climate‑controlled public retail area; some stock rooms may not be climate‑controlled; occasional outdoor work (e.g., retrieving shopping carts, unloading trucks).
• Exposure to frame‑shop equipment such as a glass cutter and heat press.

Work Environment

The role is performed in a public retail store setting that is climate‑controlled, with some stock rooms that may not be. Employees may be required to work outdoors when retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The frame shop contains a glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
