Responsibilities
- Lifeguards and Aquatics Attendants - Monitor visitor activities, administer first aid and CPR, and report accidents or issues to property management.
- Marina Attendants - Monitor visitor activities, operate and fuel watercraft, sell gasoline, oil, passes, and permits, and administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Shuttle Boat Operators - Ferry passengers safely, ensure boat care, and administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Supervisory Roles - Head Captains, Pool Supervisors, and Co-Captains supervise lifeguarding staff, schedule, train, and correct when appropriate, and administer first aid and CPR when necessary.
Requirements
- Completion of American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, American Red Cross Community CPR, First Aid and AED certifications.
- Physical training, including swimming and running.
- To wear a DNR provided uniform.
- May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
- Expected to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- May work in potentially inclement weather and with DOC work release crews.

Benefits
Seasonal positions do not offer benefits and are limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
