Seasonal Aide- Temporary (4 positions)

Cortland County Highway

Performs routine manual work. The duties performed are primarily of a manual and unskilled nature requiring physical endurance and a willingness to perform heavy work. Constant supervision is maintained over the work. Does related work as required.

Responsibilities

• Work Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week, no benefits
• Salary: $17.00/hr.
• Location: Cortland County Highway Department
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: None
• SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Possession of a valid New York State driver's license appropriate to the vehicles operated.
• Failure to maintain a NYS driver’s license including driving privileges throughout employment will result in disciplinary action or dismissal.
• Candidates must be at least eighteen (18) years old to be eligible for appointment.
• Pre-employment screenings required.
