Seasonal roles include Specialty Sales (providing tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising), Service & Engagement (welcoming, thanking, and exceeding guest service expectations), General Merchandise & Food Sales (ensuring product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed), as well as Fulfillment, Style Consultant, Inbound, Tech Consultant, and Food & Beverage Expert positions. These roles provide knowledge of guest service fundamentals, experience supporting a guest‑first culture, exposure to retail business fundamentals (department sales trends, inventory management, process efficiency), and practice executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and compelling visual merchandising presentations that inspire guests and build the basket.
- Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction and recovery.
- Ensure product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor.
- Stock, set, and sell Target products.
- Accurately handle cash register operations.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 40 pounds.
