Seamstress/Tailor - $15/Hour
About the role
The Seamstress/Tailor supports the Rental Division by accurately altering customer garments. Daily tasks include hemming and sewing emblems to garments, visually inspecting garments for repairs, and using commercial sewing machines, Button machine, Blind Stitch and Heat Seal machine.
Responsibilities
- Accurately alter customer garments
- Hem and sew emblems to garments
- Visually inspect garments for repairs such as buttons, zippers, or garment tears
- Use commercial sewing machines, Button machine, Blind Stitch and Heat Seal machine to complete daily tasks
- Maintain the cleanliness of the work area
- Meet or exceed a standard for quantity and quality of work
Qualifications
- Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the US and must be 18 years of age or older.
- Work Expectations: Adhere to attendance policy, work in a safe proximity to others, work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment, and learn to use a computer program to accomplish work activities.
- Physical Qualifications: Requires repetitive motions, stretching, bending, turning, or reaching to accomplish work activities.
- Attributes of a Great Employee-Partner: Attention to detail, work ethic/effort, interpersonal skills, teamwork/collaboration, safety orientation, adaptability/flexibility, integrity/honesty.
