Seamstress (Seamster)
About the role
Provides tailoring, sewing, mending and fabrication services for patient clothing. Design, cut and fabricate articles of clothing, draperies, linen and other textile for special articles necessary for the efficient operation of the agency. Receive, issue, delivery, cleaning, sorting, marking, storing, displaying, physical inventory control, computer entries, and keeping of related records of clothing and supplies.
Responsibilities
- Design and alter patterns and mending, patching and repairing garments and linens.
- Receive, issue, delivery, cleaning, sorting, marking, storing, displaying, physical inventory control, computer entries, and keeping of related records of clothing and supplies.
Requirements
- Two years of experience or training in sewing which included; design and alteration of patterns and mending, patching and repairing garments and linens.
- Valid Oregon driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Desired Attributes: Experience in tailoring, fabrication, inventory control, sorting clothing, computer data skills, customer service experience.

Pay
The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying range. If the successful candidate qualifies for PERS, the salary range will increase by 6.95%.
